“Decisions, Indecisions” by The Delicate Situation
Utterly fantastic, like an acoustic, lo-fi version of Micachu and the Shapes based on the number of unusual and homegrown instruments. Listening to this is like walking in on an impromptu late-night set by a singer-songwriter at a local cafe.
“Mots” by Ruth, from the brilliant Polaroid/Roman/Photo
Everything about this song is great but the best part occurs towards the end. The vocals are dropped entirely and the song becomes a dueling, near-frenetic instrumental with Marc Duconseille on the flute, Thierry Muller on synthesizer, and Frederique Lapierre on trumpet.
